For those of you who just cant see it...i know we arent artists...but here is our inspiration for our pumpkin carvings...keep in mind that we didnt have the right tools and were using oversized knives and safety pins. we tried. Posted by Hello

So today Kim and I hung out all day. We had lunch at Church with the Romanian Team.

Then we chilled and decided to carve pumpkins. Us being ambitious, we went on the Net to pic out some patterns. I really wanted to do Elvis but we couldnt find a decent pattern. We settled on Marilyn Monroe and Jimi Hendrix. Kim did Jimi Hendrix and I did Marilyn Monroe. As you can see Kim had much more success than I did...but it was all fun anyways.

We also shelled out candy and almost every time we opened the door we screamed and slammed the door back closed. That was really fun!

o...i guess it's time to update. i think i will talk about my aunt...she's quite the entrepreneur. i was checking out her web site the other day and was quite impressed with how much it's grown over the last 2 years. here is her site. My Girlfriends Forever Check it out, she has some really cool stuff!

other note-worthy things of late...well...i forgot i had hiccups for most of the day. i was reminded just now by a hiccup. they are starting to bother me now...before it was amusing. how can i get rid of them. i tried holding my breath but almost passed out. people tried to scare me at work but that didnt work. one lady at work was making me chant "I DONT HAVE THE HICCUPS...I DONT HAVE THE HICCUPS..I DONT HAVE THE HICCUPS...I DONT HAVE THE HICCUPS..."...and then i hiccupped. i guess i wasnt believing what i was saying enough for it to work.

i remember an old family friend having th hiccups so bad that he had to go to emerg becuase his stomach muscles and throat were getting so strained. he had them for 18 hours straight. they gave him muscle relaxants and then i think he was alright.

Bush's Debate Notes

WOW! I can't believe we finally got our hands on Bush's Debate Notes!!

All throughout the debate, Bush was seen taking notes on a piece of paper at his podium. At great risk to life and limb, someone was able to smuggle out the notes and present them so that they are available for everyone to see.

Check them out!

This was Kim and my top secret covert mission last night. We got a bunch of pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks and anonymously decorated our friend's Luke and Anne's home. Doesnt it look festive? I think they like it! (We waited until dark to do it...and it was a bit difficult as Luke was vacuuming and we could be visible through the front window if we werent careful.) Posted by Hello

it all started with a craving for a strawberry milkshake...

so kim called me out of bed today at the crack of noon hungry. so i said come on over...ofcourse it was about 45 minutes before she showed up but i got my little arse up and hung outside for her in the grass with my kitties.

when she came over she was talking about how she was craving a strwberry milk shake, so we went to Harvey's, which then turned into a jaunt to see my car out in the country, which then turned into a trip down memory lane where I showed Kim the 3 houses my grand-parents built and the farm I grew up on.

I was driving and was going to drive right by the good ole farmhouse when I couldnt resist turning down the laneway. Ahhhh, sweet memories. While I was turning around to exit the property, the owner came out and we lended up chatting with him for about 10 minutes. What a nice guy-Jerry is his name. And to my surprise, he said another gentleman came by the day before to visit good ole memory lane...and that person happen to be my brother. Funny eh? I think there is something about Autumn that makes our memories so much more vivid than any time of the year.

Since it was such a beautiful day, Kim and I wanted to keep driving and finding really pretty roads with lots of trees so she stocked up on candy and we filled up the car with gas...and drove for near 3 hours all over bruce county. Our goal was to get lost...and while getting lost we came across this cute little place in the middle of nowhere with a massive pumkin patch and bale hay maze. Ofcourse we went throught the maze. Infact we even went into one of the dead ends and scared the kids by screaming boo when they came down the wrong way. (It was fun watching them jump and cry and get all scared and run into the baled hay walls. NOT! This didnt really happen except with Kim.)

Cant divulge the rest of the details about our afternoon, but afterwards I had another Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandma Jean's and Grandpa George's house.

Then Kim and I got back together for a covert mission which will be revealed later...perhaps tomorrow?

Yesterday was the big Klaver Thanksgiving get-to-gether. I was going to go to church but my friend Paul called because he was up from Kitchener. He called at about 10:30am and he could tell I was very sick. Blah! Im surprised he recognised me with my man voice. So I opted out of church and instead we planned to go fo coffee at Timmy's, but as we were driving there we saw my Opa...and my Opa saw us, and invited us to his house for coffee...much better atmosphere wise.

So, the four of us had a really nice visit...Paul, Opa, Oma, and me. I felt so lifted after that visit and pumped for the start of the day. And it was a great day, visiting and eating with family-sharing stories and memories, playing with the new and young members of the family.

I also got this new wig so when it was time to go home a bunch of us young bucks and does came over and we all had a laugh with trying on the wig and posing for pictures. Guys in girls wigs is always funny.

I want to give props to my dad who couldnt join us the Thanksgiving because he had to work. Thanks for making me feel like a princess with the beautiful bouquet of flowers. It's nice to have a man in your life who gives you flowers...even if it's your father. Thanks DAD...I love you!

On that note, I will end my nite...stay tuned for the revealing of Kim and Rachel's top secret mission. There will be pictures!

But this one isnt exceptional. Infact, I am just checking in so as not to dissappoint my loyal and advid readers. I love you all...haha, I sound like a superstar.

I think I will have my car by next week, and on the road in another week or two. Yeah!

I had that 2 hour body massage/wrap...it was awesome.

I wrecked the massage by having my first Hip Hop Dance class the following nite. Yes, dance class every Wednesday nite. WooHoo! Shake your booty!

Fun Day!

Last night I spent the nite at Kim's house. Our friend Nathan spent the nite there too and pampered each of us with luxurious hour long foot massages. What a man!

This morning we were up around 8:30-ish to go to a church we have never gone to...Bentinck Baptist...but I think it is called something else now...dunno. It was nice. I really like how they have worship throw out the service. We also had communion and the people were very friendly approaching me and introducing themselves to me. I would like to go again.

Kimmy dropped me off after church and I vegged out on some Christian programming for a while eating leftover Kraft Dinner. Then, because I am not a morning person I retired to bed for an afternoon nap.

Kim called again at around 4:30pm cuz she was hungry...and I was too. She wanted to go to McDonalds for one of their salads and I wanted to go to Harvey's for poutine. We both fought about it and both lost and instead we ended up at this really cool restaurant in Scone called the Harley Blue's Cafe. We went hoping the restaurant would be full of greasy biker boys, but there werent any. Shucks...but the food was great and we were overly gracious with our tips. Hey, good food and service deserves a good tip.
