I watched a really charming french film last night called AMELIE. You may of heard of it or saw all the previews for it on tv last year. I was dissappointed at first when I realized it was subtitled but as soon as the film started I was into it. It even make me laugh out loud a few times and I was only watching it with my cats.

Has anyone else seen this film? What did ya think?

Sometimes playing with HTML can really screw things up...so about disabling the Comments and then enabling them wrong, and then disabling them, then deleting some of them by accident and then finally enabling them again...correctly. DUH!

So Anne, to answer your question about the Website My Girlfriend's Forever...it is my Aunt Jeannette's web site. It is her own business. Pretty exciting eh?

And Aunt Jeannette, if your are reading this I hope you had an awesome birthday. Love ya lots.

Working at the Video store has some good perks...like we all know about the free movies...getting read the magazines...sitting on my ass and getting payed to watch movies and take tonight for example...we sell nevada tickets and tonight I sold my first $300.00 winner...do you know what that means for me...? A nice 10% tip! So I went home with $30.00 cash in my pocket. Pretty sweet eh? It was a really nice guy who won too. It's good to see that nice guys can finish first. Nice for me too.

Well as of yet no one seems to know anything about the shoplifter. Management is saying there isnt anything we can really do. As some people like to say, steal from Wal-Mart and we will help you carry it to your car. Now isnt that the ultimate in customer service.

Ann(e). If you still have that article on Wal-Mart from the Sun Times is it?...I wouldnt mind reading it for kicks.

Well off to the Video Store till 10pm...hmmm, I wonder what I am going to watch tonight. Hope it isnt busy. Nifer: This why I score on all the free rentals and previews...it's a perk of the job.

I loved Charlie's Angels. I watched it twice. Action Flicks for Chicks! Do guys dig Charlie's Angels or is it just considered another chick flick?

And another thing...who is Nifer? Do I know you...?

Way to go Anne for recycling magazines. I got a few to pass along the line too. Watch for them soon when you see Kim next.

Something exciting happened today at work. I may have potentially got somebody busted for shoplifting. I was apprehending the guy and everything. Must be the Charlie's Angels in me or something. Anyways, this guy booted it out the emergency door at McDonald's today and I saw him running around in the parking lot with his hands full of stuff...so I immediately called a "code madison" (code word page for shoplifting) to the parking lot and booted it out after the guy.

So I guess the guy was freaking cuz he was working with a few others and they sort of ditched him and here he is in the parking lot with a shit load of merchandise and no getaway vehicle.

It ended up that half of the store associates came out to the parking lot to cuz of the page and I was flagging people over for assistance and this guy was freaking about how he was chasing a pediphile and that he was getting away..and he was fake crying and all. (I'd be making up some fake story and acting crazy too if I was about to get busted for something stupid like shoplifting). He also said he didnt have a car. We didnt know what to do because the box that he had was a huge cardboard box that we couldnt prove was our merchandise (unbeknownest to us that he had it full of merchandise at the time) so we couldnt technically apprehend him.

So, he's making up this story about a pediphile and we all just start thinking that he is schitzo so the store manager (who is our new store manager and has only been our new store manager for an hour) says that she was already talking to him earlier and to let him go and no risk our safety.

We let him go and sort of followed him for awhile and then he took off running cuz I guess he saw the "getaway" vehicle that had momentarily abandoned him.

Back at the store, someone mentioned that he had the box full of merchandise...blah, blah, blah, and that at some point one of our female associates was in the bathroom and he came in there while she was in there and freaked her out...

We called the cops and gave them a description....and here is the lucky part...a customer was watching this all go on and he saw the guy get into the vehicle and decided to follow them and get the licence plate and description on the vehicle. BUSTED!

So I will let you know how the rest of the story pans out tomorrow.

Another ordinary day in the life of a Wal-Mart Associate.

Thought I would mention that I truly love my job at Wal-Mart. I am in the office as the UPC Associate now for the past month. Ofcourse there are still rumors flying around there about me but I have the luxury of shutting myself off from it now because I have an office. I just close the door, crank up the radio and do my thing. Isolation is good.

Hey,
Anne recommended this site on her blogger called Group Hugs . Its a site where you can do anonymous confessions. Pretty bizarre but really entertaining to read.

This weekend I get to preview Charlie's Angels 2, George of the Jungle 2, Steal, Another 28 Days, and some other movie. Im sure I will not get a chance to watch them all, but I will review the ones I do.

Im a lucky girl. I scored two turkey dinners this past holiday plus leftovers. Holidays are great. Its the only time I eat good. In an effort to improve my diet my best friend Kim and I have decided to eat dinner together when we are not busy...so that means Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays, and sometimes Thursdays we are going to eat at her house or mine. I tend to make better food decisions when I am making food for someone else.

Got some really good pics of me, my sis and I all together. We had a blast. My family is a little disfunctional. For entertainment we sang old songs from our childhood. There was a farmer who had a dog and Bingo was his name ooh...b-i-n-g-o...and you get the picture. Ofcourse we were all in hysterics. It was good times.

Going to preview some new releases for Tuesday with my neighbour and co-worker Tracey. We are going to watch Wrong Turn. Suppose to be pretty scary. Watched The Matrix Reloaded last night. It's pretty good. Really good fight sequences. Havent watched the end yet. I was too tired. I managed to last till about 2am and then it was time for bed.
