So you know you're poor when...
1. you have to make your kraft dinner with water because you can not afford milk...and your kraft dinner is not even kraft dinner...it's no-name.
2. you don't have garbage bags because you use grocery bags and it has been so long since you have been able to go grocery shopping that you dont have any grocery bags lying around.
3. you had to go to the food bank for dish soap and shampoo.
4. the dish soap you got from the food bank hasnt even been used because how can you dirty dishes with the food you don't have.
5. your car breaks down and you have to wait 2 weeks to get it towed because you don't get paid until then...and so it sits in a zellers parking lot with your phone number on it just praying it doesnt get ticketed or towed away.
6. you will probably get evicted because the money you are getting in two weeks that you are going to use to fix your car is your rent money...from 2 months ago.
7. you eat your cereal with water.
8. you just go back to bed when you look in your cupboards to find something to eat...and there is nothing there...atleast you dont feel hungry when you are sleeping.
9. you can't afford to buy a bus ticket so you can go to a soup kitchen.
I SURE HOPE THINGS GET BETTER SOON...IM SICK OF LIVING THIS WAY. |
